he Singla Pass trek can be done in either direction, starting in Gorkha or Betrawati/Trishuli. On the way we will trek through Lower Manaslu (Dharche Danda and Laprak), Machha Khola, Magne Goth pass (2936m) and Singla Pass (4025m).
The Singla pass trek is located in the Ganesh Himal region and is designed to give an overview of the many lifestyles of various ethnic communities whose culture, social life and customs are totally integrated with the magnificent scenery. Although this trek is less crowded than the Annapurna or Everest treks, it is much appreciated by walkers. Particularly in March and April, the hills and mountains are ablaze with rhododendron blossom, the national flower of Nepal.
You can visit the historic town and palace of Gorkha, the birthplace of King Prithvi Narayan Shah, who unified several small states and principalities that were scattered across the country to form the present state of Nepal.
Trishuli is a 4hr drive from Kathmandu and Gorkha is 6hrs from Kathmandu.
